What are the structure and characteristics of centrifugal oil pump?

What are the structure and characteristics of centrifugal oil pump? Answer: Generally, centrifugal oil pumps have many structural forms, including single-stage single-suction and single-stage double-suction cantilever structures; two-stage single-suction and two-stage double-suction support structures at both ends; and multi-stage segmented structures. formula and other structural forms. Their internal structure is roughly the same as the corresponding general centrifugal pumps, but they generally have the following characteristics: 1. In order to reduce the influence of temperature on the pump shaft, the support of the pump body is mostly in the center. For some oil pumps with high conveying temperature, in order to prevent the eccentric movement or jamming of the pump due to thermal expansion during operation, there are generally positioned sliding guides at the bottom of the pump. 2. According to the different temperature and corrosion degree of the conveyed liquid, three types of materials are used for main parts such as pump cover, pump body and impeller. The first category is cast iron, which is not resistant to corrosion, and the operating temperature is -20~200℃. The second category is cast steel, which is not resistant to corrosion, and the operating temperature is -45~400 °C. The third category is alloy steel, which is resistant to medium sulfur corrosion, and the operating temperature is -45~400 °C.

The arrangement and foundation of the pump unit

1. The arrangement of the pump unit The arrangement of pump units is an important part of the arrangement in the pump station, which determines the size of the construction area of the pump room. The unit spacing is based on the principle of not hindering the needs of operation and maintenance. The layout of the unit should ensure safe operation, convenient loading and unloading, maintenance and management, short total pipeline length, small joint fittings, and small head loss, and the room for expansion of the pumping station should be considered. The basic forms of unit arrangement are as follows. 1. vertical arrangement When arranged longitudinally, the axes of each pump unit are parallel, as shown in Figure 1. The longitudinal arrangement is compact, the motor shaft is convenient to pull out, and the building area is small, but the pump room has a large span, many pipe fittings, and poor hydraulic conditions. Generally, bridge cranes are required for hoisting. Longitudinal arrangement is suitable for example IS single-stage single-suction cantilever centrifugal pump. Since the top of the cantilever pump system enters the water, the vertical arrangement can keep the suction pipe straight (Pump 1 in Figure 1). If there are centrifugal pumps with both lateral inlet and lateral outlet in the pump room (both pumps 2 in Figure 1 are SH type or SA type pumps), the scheme of longitudinal arrangement is debatable. If the SH-type pumps are in the majority, the longitudinal arrangement is not desirable. For example, when the 20SH-9 pump is arranged vertically, the width of the pump plus the size of the suction nozzle and the length of two 90° elbows totals 3.9m (Figure 2). If it is arranged horizontally, the width of the pump is 4.1m, and its width is not much larger than that of the vertical row, but the hydraulic conditions of the inlet and outlet are greatly improved, which can save a lot of power consumption in long-term operation.
